This hand-forged Straight Drawknife is a traditional woodworking hand tool used for removing shavings in the wood. Its classic design features a sharp blade completed with an ash tree handle at each end. The straight blade is handcrafted from carbon 52100 steel, which experts name the best for carpentry tools for its exceptional durability and capacity to hold a keen edge.
The sturdy handles of the Straight Carpenter’s Drawknife are additionally stained with bitumen and linseed oil that help restore, protect, and maintain ash tree handles. Each handle features bolts that enable you to change it if necessary. The secure leather case ensures the drawknife is entirely protected while you carry it around.
Each of our tools is made by hand and takes time to produce. It usually takes 1-2 days to manufacture, but if you have a unique order we will need 7 to 45 days to produce (depending on the complexity of the order).
Shipping to the US and EU takes between 7 and 30 days, our experience is that the average is 14 days.
For customers in the United States, delivery typically takes 4 days, as the majority of our products (90%) are stored in our U.S. warehouses. For orders shipping to other countries, including those from our warehouses in Ukraine, Canada, and Australia, delivery usually takes about 2 weeks.
