The sharp blade features an ash tree handle at each end, which is manually fixed for stability and longevity. The Ukrainian ash boasts imposing strength and water resistance, and its lightweight adds to the user’s comfort while holding the drawknife for a long time.
As a final finish and to increase a firm grip, we’ve stained both handles with mineral oil and beeswax. This premium handle treatment additionally protects the wooden handles. The natural beeswax penetrates the ash tree and deepens the surface color to make it look more textured. The well-fitted handmade leather case is included to provide a secure and sturdy fit for your drawknife and safeguard you from unwanted injuries.
Each of our tools is made by hand and takes time to produce. It usually takes 1-2 days to manufacture, but if you have a unique order we will need 7 to 45 days to produce (depending on the complexity of the order).
Shipping to the US and EU takes between 7 and 30 days, our experience is that the average is 14 days.
For customers in the United States, delivery typically takes 4 days, as the majority of our products (90%) are stored in our U.S. warehouses. For orders shipping to other countries, including those from our warehouses in Ukraine, Canada, and Australia, delivery usually takes about 2 weeks.
