With our timber-framing short-handled Roundwood Gouge 35 mm, you can easily clean up rounded channels in visible outer areas of your authentic wooden project. This versatile tool offers maximum performance and durability due to its razor-sharp rounded blade from hand-forged 52100 steel of superior strength and hardness (HRC 60-61). The sturdy handle is skillfully made from a Ukrainian ash tree, famous for its lightweight and exceptional longevity.
The ergonomic shape is meticulously polished for a firm, secure grip and equipped with a metal ring at the end that enables you to use a mallet of any kind to drive the tool towards the wood without worrying about it being split or cracked. The handmade leather sheath safeguards the blade’s keen edge and maintains the tool in brilliant condition.
Each of our tools is made by hand and takes time to produce. It usually takes 1-2 days to manufacture, but if you have a unique order we will need 7 to 45 days to produce (depending on the complexity of the order).
Shipping to the US and EU takes between 7 and 30 days, our experience is that the average is 14 days.
For customers in the United States, delivery typically takes 4 days, as the majority of our products (90%) are stored in our U.S. warehouses. For orders shipping to other countries, including those from our warehouses in Ukraine, Canada, and Australia, delivery usually takes about 2 weeks.
