Our Angled Long 2-in Timber Framing Chisel is a highly functional, versatile tool specially designed for carpentry and timber framing tasks, including mortise and tenon work. The sleek construction masterfully combines a razor-sharp, thick blade from hi-carbon 52100 steel and a light, durable ash tree handle. The sturdy blade has been additionally forged, ground, and heat-treated for optimum edge retention and longevity.
This authentic framing chisel excels in removing large amounts of wood in a brief, single strike. Thus, the tool is perfect for shaping and notching large wood pieces and timber beams. It comes with a well-fitted leather sheath that protects not only the steel part, preventing the blade from becoming dull and accidental scratches but the wooden handle, ensuring it withstands the rigors of everyday storage and frequent transportation.
Each of our tools is made by hand and takes time to produce. It usually takes 1-2 days to manufacture, but if you have a unique order we will need 7 to 45 days to produce (depending on the complexity of the order).
Shipping to the US and EU takes between 7 and 30 days, our experience is that the average is 14 days.
For customers in the United States, delivery typically takes 4 days, as the majority of our products (90%) are stored in our U.S. warehouses. For orders shipping to other countries, including those from our warehouses in Ukraine, Canada, and Australia, delivery usually takes about 2 weeks.
