Our hand-forged Drawknife is an indispensable, traditional carpentry tool for shaping wood. It efficiently helps you to remove shavings with the small-radius, straight blade from carbon steel 52100 of exceptional hardness (HRC 58-59). The tool has a sturdy ash tree handle at each end, offering unmatched comfort and ideal balance while working on your unique project. The handles are additionally stained with linseed oil and bitumen to preserve them in the best condition and strengthen the wood throughout.
This highly functional drawknife comes with a well-fitted leather case of exceptional quality that guarantees optimal protection for the authentic tool it houses. It ensures your drawknife remains as sharp as the day you receive your order after years of frequent and excessive use.
Each of our tools is made by hand and takes time to produce. It usually takes 1-2 days to manufacture, but if you have a unique order we will need 7 to 45 days to produce (depending on the complexity of the order).
Shipping to the US and EU takes between 7 and 30 days, our experience is that the average is 14 days.
For customers in the United States, delivery typically takes 4 days, as the majority of our products (90%) are stored in our U.S. warehouses. For orders shipping to other countries, including those from our warehouses in Ukraine, Canada, and Australia, delivery usually takes about 2 weeks.
