The socket is integrally forged, meaning it is made from a single piece of certified tough carbon steel. The blade is additionally heat-treated for optimum edge retention. The ergonomic ash handle features a steel ring on top to prevent it from splitting when using a mallet or a hammer. It ensures a firm, comfortable grip, allowing you to easily work with utmost precision.
A well-fitted leather sheath grants the tool is safely stored and transported. The Straight Carving Gouge is perfect for both heavy-duty carving and intricate detailing. Each of our tools is made by hand and takes time to produce. It usually takes 1-2 days to manufacture, but if you have a unique order we will need 7 to 45 days to produce (depending on the complexity of the order).
Shipping to the US and EU takes between 7 and 30 days, our experience is that the average is 14 days.
For customers in the United States, delivery typically takes 4 days, as the majority of our products (90%) are stored in our U.S. warehouses. For orders shipping to other countries, including those from our warehouses in Ukraine, Canada, and Australia, delivery usually takes about 2 weeks.
