This Timber Framing Chisel is a dependable hand-forged robust tool perfect for carpentry and woodworking. It features a wide scope of functionality, from making furniture to cleaning trees from the bark. Its efficiency for leveling ends, chamfering, and cutting curved surfaces is truly impressive.
The tool is made from forged hardened 52100 steel with ideally balanced properties for manufacturing threaded, cutting tools. The chromium-containing low-alloy steel alloy boasts high strength and wear resistance, so you won’t need to sharpen your chisel for a long time. The ash wood handle features a well-thought-out design: it’s 11.4 in (29 cm) long, which allows you to adjust the blows of the hammer, maintaining a comfortable and secure grip. This chisel is safeguarded with a handmade leather blade sheath already included in the order, so you don’t need to purchase the protective case separately.
Each of our tools is made by hand and takes time to produce. It usually takes 1-2 days to manufacture, but if you have a unique order we will need 7 to 45 days to produce (depending on the complexity of the order).
Shipping to the US and EU takes between 7 and 30 days, our experience is that the average is 14 days.
For customers in the United States, delivery typically takes 4 days, as the majority of our products (90%) are stored in our U.S. warehouses. For orders shipping to other countries, including those from our warehouses in Ukraine, Canada, and Australia, delivery usually takes about 2 weeks.
