Our Big Straight 3.5-cm Spoon Chisel is a perfect dependable tool for carving concave shapes and hollows in the bowl of a spoon. Its U-shaped blade from hand-forged certified 52100 steel allows you to make a deeper cut in both softwood and hardwood types. The socket is integrally forged, meaning it is made from a single piece of steel. The high carbon chrome alloy steel features superior hardness (58-59 HRC) and high wear resistance, ensuring the long working life of your tool.
A sturdy handle from a lightweight Ukrainian ash tree is equipped with a metal ring at the end, so you can safely use the chisel with a wooden or rubber mallet without worrying that it might occasionally crack or split. A well-fitted leather sheath ensures that the blade preserves its keen edge for a long time of frequent use, occasional transportation, and everyday storage.
Each of our tools is made by hand and takes time to produce. It usually takes 1-2 days to manufacture, but if you have a unique order we will need 7 to 45 days to produce (depending on the complexity of the order).
Shipping to the US and EU takes between 7 and 30 days, our experience is that the average is 14 days.
For customers in the United States, delivery typically takes 4 days, as the majority of our products (90%) are stored in our U.S. warehouses. For orders shipping to other countries, including those from our warehouses in Ukraine, Canada, and Australia, delivery usually takes about 2 weeks.
