The tool is great for carving, as it is made from forged 9HS steel, known for its high working hardness, striking toughness, and impressive wear resistance. It has shown its best at carving bowls, spoons, and kuksas (traditional wooden Sami cups). The blade offers you a unique opportunity to make a personalized knife just for yourself and unleash your creativity to the fullest — it is supplied without a handle and a sheath. This allows you to think over an individual design and craft the handle to your own liking. The Blade in Yakut style retains its exceptional sharpness and cutting precision for a long time. It preserves a razor-sharp edge even if you frequently work on different carving projects.
Each of our tools is made by hand and takes time to produce. It usually takes 1-2 days to manufacture, but if you have a unique order we will need 7 to 45 days to produce (depending on the complexity of the order).
Shipping to the US and EU takes between 7 and 30 days, our experience is that the average is 14 days.
For customers in the United States, delivery typically takes 4 days, as the majority of our products (90%) are stored in our U.S. warehouses. For orders shipping to other countries, including those from our warehouses in Ukraine, Canada, and Australia, delivery usually takes about 2 weeks.
